In the Belgian company Emaillerie Belge, all manner of quality enamelling is done from the Brussels based workshop varying from advertising to architecture. Enamel is glass, not paint, and is a technique that dates back to ancient Egypt and has been with us ever since.

When Emaillerie Belge asked Studio O’Sullivan to create something new, they rose to the challenge and created pure geometric bowls. Their design is deceptively simple and may at first glance even seem somewhat profane. A closer inspection will unveil the intricate interplay between the straight and angled forms, which simultaneously reveal and conceal the six different colors.

The six enamelled nesting bowls form a colorful concentric tableau of inwardly radiating circles, that can be used stacked or separated, each time revealing new colors and uses. They vary from 43 - 21 cm and 4,5 - 3,7 cm in height.
