Past, present and future of Belgian design, now at ADAM

06.06.2018 - Agne Steponaityte

ADAM museum is inviting its visitors to take a fresh look at design with the help of the new exhibition Design Generations. The show hosts 10 Belgian companies that specialize in the field. With different interpretations of the profession, the selection offers a unique look into the world of design.

The exhibition aims to show the importance and versatility of design throughout generations. Each of the companies presents their own interpretation of design with items from past, present, and future. The past is represented by a selected item from museum’s collection, while creator’s current works embody the present. The future is a mixture of plans, dreams, and aspirations projected on an interactive screen.
